We’re very happy to announce that Year at Danger is going to be screening as part of the Austin Film Society’s ‘Docs in Progress’ series.
The screening will take place Thursday June 21st at 7pm. Tickets are free. Attendance is limited to AFS Filmmaker-level members and above. Because seating is limited, you must register to attend the screening (no exceptions). Please register early, as we expect strong interest in this screening.

Austin Film Festival – event sponsor
Well after an extended holiday break, we’ve dived back into editing again… It was nice to be able to step away for a while.
Regarding our last blog, we found a music supervisor, Dominique Preyer at Spin Cycle Films. Thanks to everyone who wrote to us with ideas and suggestions.
So again no real news… maybe later…

Does anyone have any advice regarding music licensing? …music licensing on budget?
Anyone have any experience with “festival rights”? Any horror stories? Any good stories?
Anyone know of a good way to go about licensing music that won’t cost a ton of money right now? Maybe some sort of back-end deal?
Any advice would be appreciated and you’ll get a “special thanks” credit…
