Post-Production Progress Report

Well after an extended holiday break, we’ve dived back into editing again… It was nice to be able to step away for a while.

Regarding our last blog, we found a music supervisor, Dominique Preyer at Spin Cycle Films. Thanks to everyone who wrote to us with ideas and suggestions.

So again no real news… maybe later…

But here’s a fascinating photo essay on Bob Woodruff’s recovery after being hit by and IED, January, 2006.

Post-Production Progress Report

A quick note to let everyone know how post-production is going.

The film’s now at a watchable, but still-too-long, length of 2 and a half hours. We’ve got a lot more cutting to do, but we’re really happy with the way everything is turning out so far.

We screened our rough cut last night to a very understanding audience. They had a lot of positive things to say, and also gave some “constructive criticism,” which was very appreciated. Thanks to everyone who showed up.

We’ll be doing more test screenings throughout the next month, if you’d like to help out, please let us know.

Post-Production / Uber Goober DVDs

Year at Danger is in post-production right now so it may be a while before there are any updates on this page, but as soon as there’s something to report we’ll be posting about it here. If you’re interested in the film, send us a friend request and we’ll keep you up to date. Thanks for your interest.

Also, you can pick up a copy of the previous film from Steve Metze and Scum Crew Pictures, the award-winning, critically-acclaimed, feature-length documentary Ãœber Goober: A Film About Gamers at our website. DVDs are now only $10!

Thanks, more info soon…

(Pssst… Here’s the trailer for Uber Goober, in case you’re curious…)
